How to make a heart beat

As a young career musician, Jon Banquil has made waves in the local Hawaii scene in a very short amount of time. From opening for Awolnation, Grouplove, and Young the Giant on The Republik stage to opening for The Cure at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, him and his band, Ivory City, have really made a name for themselves. However, things weren’t always as grandiose as it may seem in the lime light. Jon had a very difficult childhood, but through the power of music, he was able to find a source of healing and find himself.
